GNC-ALFA has expanded service coverage

GNC-ALFA CJSC is pleased to announce that its country-wide 10 Gbt/s bandwidth IP/MPLS network is now available also in 4 cities of Armenia. Below is the list of cities.

Gavar, Idjevan, Martuni, Noemberyan.

Network aggregation nodes of the company have been put into operation in the above-mentioned areas. The nodes are based upon modern US equipment supplied by Juniper Networks which enables GNC-ALFA CJSC, to provide IP transit, Internet access, data telecommunication, virtual private network (VPN) and other services to communication operators, Internet Service Providers and corporate customers from these nodes.

The current complete list of regions and cities connected to GNC-ALFA CJSC network is the following:

Yerevan, Kotayk (Abovyan, Byureghavan, Nor Hachn, Tsakhkadzor, Charentsavan, Hrazdan), Ararat (Ararat, Masis, Vedi, Artashat), Vayots Dzor (Jermuk, Yeghegnadzor), Syunik (Kajaran, Agarak, Sisian, Goris, Kapan, Aragatsotn (Ashtarak, Aparan), Shirak (Gyumri), Lori (Spitak, Vanadzor, Stepanavan, Alaverdi, Tashir), Tavush (Bagratashen, Dilijan, Idjevan, Noemberyan), Armavir (Armavir, Vagharshapat (Echmiadzin)), Gegharkunik (Gavar, Martuni, Sevan).

Investments aimed to network expansion, construction and technical operations are in progress.

Implementation of this project will greatly contribute to the Internet penetration rate in the country, to the growth of access to information resources for population and organizations, as well as to the availability of modern network technologies services in RA provided by the company.
